Nicolas Deslauriers scored twice, including the game-winner, as the visiting Carolina Hurricanes doubled up the Vancouver Canucks 6-3 on Tuesday night.

Logan Stankoven and Nikolaj Ehlers each tallied twice and added a helper as the Hurricanes improved to 6-1-0 on the road and swept the two-game season series against the Canucks.

Jackson Blake added three assists, and Pyotr Kochetkov made 14 saves to improve to 6-0-0 this season.

Linus Karlsson, Jonathan Lekkerimaki, and Max Sasson responded for the Canucks, who are winless in eight straight and 1-3-0 at home this season.

Jake DeBrusk chipped in two assists and Leevi Merilainen stopped 36 shots.

Deslauriers added his second of the night, one-timing a Bradly Nadeau feed past Merilainen to give Carolina a 4-3 lead at 4:07 of the third for the eventual winner.

Carolina added insurance at 10:21 as Ehlers broke in alone on Merilainen and beat the Canucks starter five-hole.

Stankoven gave the Hurricanes a 6-3 lead, scoring into an empty net at 17:53.

Deslauriers snapped a 39-game goal drought at 2:26 of the second period, beating Merilainen on the short side to put Carolina up 3-2.

Vancouver tied it 3-3 at 13:07 of the middle frame when Sasson completed a give-and-go with Zeev Buium.

Carolina outshot Vancouver 12-8 in the first period, but the teams were tied 2-2 after 20 minutes.

Stankoven opened the scoring at 4:44 of the first, snapping a Blake feed glove-side past Merilainen.

The Canucks responded midway through the period when Karlsson picked up a loose puck and fired a shot under Kochetkov's blocker.

Ehlers gave the Hurricanes a 2-1 lead at 12:09 of the first, taking a Blake feed off his skate and putting his shot past a diving Merilainen.

The Canucks tied it 2-2 with 1.1 seconds remaining in the period as Lekkerimaki put home a loose puck.

Tuesday was the second and final meeting between Carolina and Vancouver this season. Carolina thumped the Canucks 7-2 in Raleigh on Oct. 8.
