Macklin Celebrini scored twice, including the overtime winner, as the San Jose Sharks rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat the host Montreal Canadiens 4-3 on Tuesday.

Ivar Stenberg made a no-look pass to Celebrini, who dropped to one knee and fired a shot through traffic for the power-play winner at 2:13 of overtime.

Michael Misa and Tyler Toffoli also scored, and Alex Nedeljkovic made 31 saves for the Sharks, who rebounded from a 3-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday.

Nick Suzuki, Juraj Slafkovsky and Cole Caufield each had a goal and an assist for the Canadiens, who were coming off a 4-3 overtime victory against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday. Jakub Dobes made 26 saves.

Celebrini put San Jose up 1-0 at 13:49 of the first period. The Sharks had just killed a penalty, and Celebrini intercepted Jake Evans' cross-ice pass in Montreal's zone, then scored on a snap shot.

Suzuki tied it 1-1 at 16:38. The Sharks bobbled the puck in the neutral zone, and Slafkovsky set Suzuki up for a snap shot past Nedeljkovic's glove side.

Slafkovsky put the Habs up 2-1 at 1:49 of the second period when he flipped the puck to himself around Darnell Nurse and fired a close-range snap shot.

Caufield extended the lead to 3-1 at 14:03. Suzuki set up the shot with a pass from behind the net, and Caufield scored from down on one knee.

Misa cut the deficit to 3-2 at 5:36 of the third, scoring past Dobes' outstretched stick off a cross-ice pass from Kiefer Sherwood.

Toffoli tied the game 3-3 with a power-play goal at 11:09, redirecting a shot by Celebrini past Dobes.
